Looks good!

How far out can we start looking at the weather?
It's been really nice lately.
Hope someone can bottle some of this up and save it for next month!

I really only start to look at the forecast with any degree of hope or dismay starting about 4 or 5 days from the first day of the star gaze so that would be about the time of our November meeting. 4 or 5 days from the start date would be about 9 or 10 days from the end date. Even then the forecast can change greatly. I cannot tell you how many times the forecast looked great only to see it break down. By the same token things can look hopeless right before the start and we catch a break and we get at least a few nights of decent observing weather.

Pinning hopes on a forecast which is now 20 days from the DSSG first day and 25 days from the end is almost worthless. Wait two more weeks and it will become more meaningful.

PS - we should have 40 plus attendees and I have one guy coming in from Austin, TX.
